تم تقديم هذا البحث إلى الندوة التي عقدتها المنظمة الإسلامية للعلوم الطبية حول الوراثة والتكاثر البشري وذلك خلال الفترة 6-9 فبراير من عام 2006. يناقش المؤلف عددا من القضايا من منظور إسلامي مثل الإجهاض وزواج الأقارب والفحص الجيني قبل الانغراز في الرحم والبصمة الوراثية والاستنساخ والهندسة الوراثية وإجراء التجارب على الخلايا الجذعية.
Abstract Translated
This paper was submitted to the seminar held by the Islamic Organization for Medical Sciences (IOMS) during the period 6-9 February 2006 on human genetics and reproductive technologies. The author addresses a wide range of topics from an Islamic ethical perspective, including abortion; consanguineous marriage; preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), DNA fingerprinting, cloning, genetic engineering and stem cell research.
