The book comprises a comparative study on the importance of the patient’s will in the medical contract with reference to the legal systems in Algeria, Egypt, France, Jordan, Lebanon, the United States, Yemen, and with a special focus on the Iraqi legal system. It consists of two main chapters: definition of the will and its scope in the medical contract; and the extent of respect accorded to patients’ will in the medical contract.
