يتناول هذا الكتاب عددا من القضايا الأساسية المتعلقة بموضوع الأخلاقيات الحيوية وينقسم إلى ثلاثة أبواب تحت العناوين التالية: مدخل أخلاقي؛ تعليم الأخلاقيات الحيوية: وقضايا الأخلاقيات الحيوية ويعرض هذا الباب الأخير لعدد من الموضوعات المهمة مثل: قضايا قبل الميلاد؛ الإجهاض؛ قضايا التكاثر؛ الجينوم البشري؛ العلاج الجيني؛ ابتكار أشكال جديدة من الحياة؛ القتل بزعم الرحمة؛ التحسين الوراثي؛ وقضايا الحيوان والتنوع الحيواني.
Abstract Translated
This book is an introduction to the field of bioethics. It consists of three main chapters. The first chapter is a general exposition of the field covering its definition, history, and main theses from Western and Islamic perspectives. The second chapter deals with the education of bioethics in terms of history, curricula, instruments, and measurements. The third chapter discusses several important bioethical issues: fetal development, abortion, reproductive issues, human genome, gene therapy, new life forms, euthanasia, eugenics, animal-related issues and animal diversity.
