Abstract Translated
This book focuses on the definition and application of liability in the wider medical field. It consists of seven main chapters addressing these themes: the concept of medical error; medical error in treatment; medical error in surgical operations; medical error in public/private hospitals and in the case of corporate physicians; pillars of liability; legal nature of medical liability; and medical legislation.

Last chapter includes texts of: the Bylaws of Professional Ethics issued by the ministerial decree of the Health Minister no. 234 in 1974; Disciplinary Codes for Physicians and Pharmacists issued by the Egyptian Medical Syndicate and the Egyptian Pharmacists Syndicate ; and the Statute for the Regulation of the Eye Banks issued by the presidential decree establishing Code no. 103 in 1962.
