يتناول الكتاب موضوع الأحكام الشرعية والقانونية المتعلقة بالتدخل في عوامل الوراثة والتكاثر مع التركيز على القانون المصري ويتكون من باب تمهيدي حول إطار البحث والموضوعات ذات الصلة بالإضافة إلى قسمين أساسيين. القسم الأول بعنوان أحكام التدخل في عوامل الوراثة ويتكون من ثلاثة أبواب: عوامل الوراثة والأحكام المتعلقة بالمحتوى الوراثي؛ أحكام تقنيات الوراثة الهادفة إلى تعديل الخصائص الوراثية (الهندسة الوراثية)؛ وأحكام تقنيات الوراثة القابلة لاستهداف التكاثر (التقنيات الموجهة). القسم الثاني بعنوان أحكام التدخل في عوامل التكاثر ويتكون من ثلاثة أبواب: أحكام التدخل لمنع الإنجاب المتاح (منع الحمل)؛ أحكام التدخل لتحقيق الإنجاب الممتنع (علاج العقم والتلقيح الصناعي)؛ والمشكلات التي يثيرها تطبيق تقنيات التكاثر.
Abstract Translated
The book discusses the legal and sharia-based rulings pertaining to interference with the genetic and reproductive factors with a particular focus on the Egyptian law. It consists of a preliminary chapter, delineating the scope of the study and the associated themes, and two main parts. The first part focuses on the rulings pertaining to interference with genetic factors and it consists of three chapters: genetic factors and the rulings concerned with the genetics; rulings pertaining to genetic techniques aiming to modify genetic characteristics (genetic engineering); and rulings pertaining to reproductive genetic techniques (cloning and sex preselection). The second part focuses on the rulings pertaining to interference with reproductive factors and it consists of three chapters: contraception; infertility and artificial insemination; and the problems that the modern reproductive technologies raise.
