The book discusses the issue of medical treatment which involves blood transfusion according to civil law and Islamic jurisprudence with a special focus on the Egyptian context. It consists of four chapters: permissibility of medical treatment; treatment through blood transfusion; contracts related to blood transfusion; and consequences of blood transfusion.
